
Miguel Carrera Troyano
Ph.D. Director, Business and Negotiation emphasis.
Miguel Carrera Troyano holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is tenure track professor and researcher in Economics at the Applied Economics Department at the University of Salamanca. His areas of interest are Trade, Development and Inequality and poverty.
He is the Director of the Master Program in International Cooperation for Development at the University of Salamanca. He has been the Director of the Instituto de Iberoamérica at the University of Salamanca and his teaching is concentrated in the social and economic problems of that region. He has been the President of the European Council for Social Research on Latin America (CEISAL). He has also been the Secretary General of the International University Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP).
