Ignacio Domínguez

Counsel of Latham & Watkins LLP and Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Harvard Club of Spain



Ignacio Domínguez is a counsel of the US law firm Latham & Watkins LLP in the Madrid office. Mr. Domínguez focuses his practice on international M&A, capital markets and corporate restructurings, being continuously involved in international business negotiations. He also heads Latham & Watkins’ pro bono practice in Spain.


Currently, Mr. Domínguez is the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Harvard Club of Spain and member of the Board of UNICEF Madrid Committee. He recently served in the Board of Directors of la Caixa Scholarship Alumni Association.


Ignacio graduated in law by the University of Salamanca in 2002, after studying one year in Leuven (Belgium). In 2003, he works in the legal department of the US telecommunications company MCI WorldCom in Brussels, and initiates his studies of Political Science at the University of Salamanca (graduating in 2005). Since the end of 2003 until the end of 2006 he works in the Brussels office of the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, doing a secondment in the regulatory department of Orange in London. In 2007 he works in the Antitrust Department of Clifford Chance in Madrid. He obtains a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University in 2008.
