Andrés Trujillo Jiménez

Andrés Trujillo Jiménez is a professor and researcher in Trade Law and Global

Health at the University of Salamanca. Professor Trujillo Jiménez holds a PhD

in Law from the University of Salamanca and the Public University of Navarra

and a master’s degree in Private Property Law from the same institutions. He

was awarded the prestigious “José Manuel Gómez Pérez” Alumni Award for

Academic Excellence for the best doctoral thesis in 2022. He is a specialist in

Intellectual and Industrial Property Law, Pharmaceutical Law, and Global

Health.


Dr. Trujillo Jiménez has participated as a speaker in different national and international congresses developing topics related to patent law, biotechnological medicines, competition, and the defence of access to global health.


He has several publications and collaborations in collective works and specialised journals in the area of commercial law, both nationally and internationally. His most recent publication “Patentes, Datos de Prueba y acceso a los Fármacos Biológicos” was released in 2023.


He has carried out several research stays in European institutions of international prestige, such as the Max Planck Institute in Munich, Germany. He actively collaborates in several working groups of research projects in the Department of Private Law at the University of Salamanca. He also works as a legal advisor, translator, and interpreter.​
