Introducing and Advancing Global Security & Intelligence
Theoretical Foundations, Practical Applications, and Strategic Career Pathways
Master’s in Global Security and Intelligence
This Master’s program begins by exploring the ideas that shape global security and intelligence. Students start with the main theories and concepts that explain how power, knowledge, and decision-making work in today’s interconnected world.
The program then turns to practice. It introduces the tools, methods, and management approaches used by professionals in the field, blending solid theory with hands-on application so that knowledge becomes usable skill.
Students take a close look at the major dimensions of global security: the institutions involved, the challenges they face, and the realities of operating in an era of global strategic risk. They also learn how to think creatively about responses and new ways to engage with these issues.
Through case studies, the program connects ideas to experience. Students examine counterterrorism after 9/11, the prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) proliferation in Iraq and other regions, and the professional practice of intelligence analysis in the 21st century.
By the end of the program, graduates have both the insight and the practical grounding needed to understand today’s complex security environment and to contribute effectively within it.
