Pablo de León, University of North Dakota
Pablo Gabriel de León is an Associate Professor at the Department of Space Studies, University of North Dakota. He is also the Director of the Human Spaceflight Laboratory at the same institution.
Dr. de León has been a Principal Investigator on several NASA-funded research programs and is currently working on the design of planetary habitats as part of NASA´s Journey to Mars initiative.
Pablo de León is an aerospace engineer with a postgraduate diploma in Space Studies and holds a Ph.D. in History from the Universidad de San Andrés (Argentina), specializing in the history of science and technology.
He has published several books in his main area of expertise of space technology and on the history of the Latin American space programs, in particular, the Argentine space program.
