Felipe Feijoo, researcher at the Joint Global Change Research Institute, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (JGCRI-PNNL)
His main research areas include global energy systems and environmental policy analysis and design. More precisely, his work includes the study, using systems thinking, of deregulated electricity networks, global natural gas markets, and impact of different energy technologies on global temperature increase, among others. His research lies in the intersection of policy, economics, and systems modeling.
Dr. Feijoo obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the University of South Florida (U.S.). Before joining JGCRI-PNNL, he spent time as postdoctoral researcher at the Systems Institute at Johns Hopkins University and at the MIT collaborative initiatives. Dr. Feijoo is also a visiting researcher at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC).
