Xulio Ríos, Director of the Galician Institute of International Analysis and Documentation, IGADI
Xulio Ríos (1958) has a Law degree and is the Director of the Galician Institute of International Analysis and Documentation, IGADI.
An expert on Chinese matters, he is member of the Advisory Council of “Casa Asia“.
Director of the Chinese Policy Observatory –Observatorio de la Política China-.
Promoter and Coordinator of the Latin-American Network of Sinology.
He is the author of training manuals for the Open University in Cataluña –Universitat Oberta de Catalunya- and the University of Alcalá de Henares, in the East Asia master’s degree.
He is a teacher of the Instituto de Altos Estudios Universitarios.
Author of books such as China (Icaria, Barcelona, 1997), Hong Kong, camiño de volta (Hong Kong, return trip), China, a pr&óxima superpotencia (Laiovento, 1997), A China por dentro (Xerais, 1998).
